Spruce Goose 2009 Oregon Pinot Noir

This was my "splurge" at the Grocery Outlet at $10. Being from Long Beach, I grew up with the Spruce Goose under the huge white dome near the port but it has since moved to Oregon. I had to buy this. Evergreen Vineyards makes this Pinot and they chose the Spruce Goose because their tasting room is underneath the wing of the historic airplane. This isn't jammy and overbearing at all and has subtle hints of cedar and clove. It would play nice with a wide variety of foods.  This is another schwing grab for only $10, I'd do it all over again with pasta Marinara like we did tonight.
